    WTB: Line Space Lever for Royal Empress

    Hi. I'm looking for the two piece line space lever for a Royal Empress typewriter. I bought mine with the lever missing. And thank you.

    This is the only Royal upright typewriter fitted with the plastic-inside metal carriage return lever.  They were a pain in the padded you-know-where.  They would break even if you held your nose a certain way.  Some Royal portables were also fitted with these.  Your best bet is to find a carriage return lever from a Royal FP or a Royal 440.
