I've gone on an Olympia buying spree since I've started using typewriters two months ago.
What's your desert island Olympia typewriter?
I'll say my SM9 with wide carriage.

Wow, a hard call. Probably an SG1 -- why? I am making the assumption that since I'm on a desert isle, I'm not going anywhere so there's no need for a portable (!). What's more, its weight means it's not going to be washed away. Also, it's got all the keys I would need, and then some, and I can set the machine to print using the middle of the ribbon as well as the upper and lower portions, so I can be frugal with the ribbon as I type all those letters to be floated away in bottles.

I only own one Olympia, an SM-9. It's in the repair shop atm.

Have to go with the SG1 for a standard, or a SM4 if there's a restriction that it has to be a portable.

Oh. I forgot I had an SM-3. Duh!

Whichever one would provide the best selection of parts to make a boat with.

I'll go with the SM9, I'm sure Mary Ann and the professor would agree.

I'd choose an SM3.

Hard choice. I love my SG1, but pretty big to haul between the beach huts whilst looking for food.
I think the SM9 is my all around go to, but for easy transport around the Isle, I'd go with the SM3.
