Olympia SG1 ribbon reverse problem
At the end of a spool the SG1 just types on the same spot and doesn't reverse. Does the SG1 need ribbons with a grommet in them? I'm using non-grommet type right now.

I tried with a grommet ribbon. No luck...
It goes from left to right fine, but not reverse: right to left.
Any ideas?

Not clear. Do you mean it goes from left to right just fine but it will not run from right to left even when you manually operate the reversing mechanism OR that it will run from right to left if you manually reverse it but it will not trip the auto reverse? Those would be two different problems.

I'm sorry. Double checked, I think for scenarios it doesn't work.
i) it will not run from right to left even when you manually operate the reversing mechanism
ii) it will not trip the auto reverse

I have several SG1s and the ribbon reverse doesn't always work. Yours may need some cleaning of the mechanism and manual working of it to get it freed up.
