Local councillor using manual typewriter for newsletters
I am delighted that Percy Prowse is one of our local councillors and always get a warm nostalgic feeling when one of his occasional newsletters lands on the doormat.

Good for him -- and I bet they're delivered by regular mail. I still have a land line too! Love the aloha shirt.
A Remington Quiet-Riter is his "axe," it appears -- a sensible, reliable choice.
