    Typeface with crossed-W or W-with-four-upper-terminals

    Just curious.  Are there any typewriters where the capital "W" is a crossed-W or a W-with-four-upper-terminals?  You might know it as a capital-W with an "x" in the middle, or as a capital-W with 3 v's.  You can find a picture of the "W" here: http://www.identifont.com/identify?6+wW+B6H+30C+20+9Y+8R2

    I'm sure there are others, but the Vogue typeface comes immediately to mind.

    The pronoun I has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

    Well, that typewriter evidently attracted some attention, 24 bids took it up to $357.12 US. Whether anyone from the forum bid on this unit, I don't know. Kind of went out of my price range pretty quick. All the best,
