Stumped by a Remington Noiseless Model 7 spring
I took the right side plate off the carriage of my Model 7 to straighten a slightly bent lever and now I can't figure out where this spring goes.
Carriage release, carriage lock, and paper roller release all work fine without it, so I'm wondering where it goes and what it does. Any help is appreciated.
