Yes, M. Hohne, when you mention wrist watches, I see what you mean. Looking broader at rends in engineering is certainly a pursuit worth embracing, thank you. I was looking at typewriter design as a trend on it's own. There's much more room for thought and investigation.

Yes, my Remington 3 and it's final stage geared type bars are what intrigued me enough to enquire further, and I value all of the input from you all, thank  you for engaging in discussion.
