I'll take those all day long for $20.
I picked up this Remington Noiseless Model 6 yesterday for $50. What a train wreck it is (was). EVERYTHING on the machine was completely seized: the carriage shift mechanism, the ribbon transport gearing, the left ribbon spool, the escapement, and many of the type slugs wouldn't make contact with the platen. It took around four hours of hard work to get it to a working state, but there's still lots left to do, lots of small little things that can wait or be worked on while the machine is out and being used.

Blame all the scum bag scammers and spammers out there. Waiting for three posts before you can post a photo was clearly an aggravation (you complained in all three about the rule), but put into perspective it's a small inconvenience for a new member, particularly if it helps to insulate long standing members from those with ulterior motives. Thanks for your patience and understanding in this matter.

This is my first vintage typewriter. I found this bad boy at an antique shop for $44. Works great! It was pretty clean, too. Two sticky letters that were easily fixed, even by a newbie like me. I'm happy!

Hey, nice catch! One of the first typers I bought was a Royal, and it helped get me hooked on collecting. Love Royals, for looks AND function.

Picked up a fully functional Royal HH and a Royal Safari that needs a ribbon and testing for $50 for the pair.

A pair of Royals for $50? Nice!
I just received this Adler Privat. I wasn't sure what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised by its type action. As a bonus it has an interesting history as it spent some of its time in Namibia before ending up here in Canada via Germany.

I impulsively bought a Royal Model P in green (to go with my red one) off ebay because it was local. Surprise, it's italic! I didn't know those came in italic! What fun!
