Royal Quiet De Luxe: Drawband Length?
I've got an early 50's Royal Quiet De Luxe (picked up for the princely sum of $15 from a thrift store in the po-dunk town of Smelterville, ID); while it's in excellent cosmetic condition, it has a broken drawband. Is there a typical/recommended length when it comes to drawbands, or does it vary significantly from machine to machine? Thanks in advance!

You can disregard this! I futzed with the Quiet De Luxe this evening and fashioned a 13" drawband from some heavy leader line. Works like a charm!
