WTB: L.C. Smith Model 5 - Ratchet Release Lever
Hello everyone, I’m restoring an L.C. Smith model 5 typewriter and for some reason the ratchet release lever is missing lol. If anyone happens to have one let me know I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Sadly I don’t believe it is. I looked at some photos of the model 8 and it looks like the model 8 uses some sort of system connected to the platen knob to release the ratchet. The LC smith model 5 uses a lever that sticks up next to the platen. I may be wrong though, can you post a picture of it? Thank you very much for contacting me.
