Hello, today I have received a Sharp PA-4000. When I turn it on, after few seconds it starts beeping and it does not work at all - just a continuous beep. I cleaned, tried something else but everything has been useless. Any idea? Thanks!

Traful,
Not sure if you will find an answer but here is a pdf-copy of the PA-4000 user manual :

Thanks, I have it. There's nothing about my issue. I think I could reset the memory. (how?).

Traful,
This is a different Panasonic eelctronic typewriter...but maybe similar.
Page 53 of this Manual describes a constant "buzzing" and disabled key-tops when the text memory is full and needs to be cleared.

And page 48 of this Manual describes how to clear (reset) the memory buffer. Maybe those steps will be similar on your Model PA-4000...??? Or the PA-4000 Manual may detail how to clear that text memory.p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120% }

Thanks a lot, but I gave up. It was an eBay untested item, so I got a refund. By the way, my primary focus was on Casio thermal typewriter - something like that
They are pretty cheap, but (I live in Europe) cartridge+shipping is more expensive than the whole machine! Any advice on a thermal typewriter (the smaller the better) with cartridges/ribbon not costing an eye and an arm?
Thans, as ever

Fulvio,
Sorry cannot be of help...these "electronic" machines are not an area in which I collect.
Hopefully another Member on the forum might be able to offer advice.
