Hi all!  Hope everyone is doing well and feeling healthy!!!
One of our greatest shipping fears came true for me a few weeks ago.  I got a great deal on a QWERTZ Hermes 3000 and it was shipped poorly.  The 3000 received a NASTY squish, dent in her rear left corner, like dropping an iPad from the 2nd floor.  The Aluminium is so badly squashed, only an auto-body shop would be able to reform this, unless anyone has a novel idea!  The cost of having that done is quite outrageous, so I am looking to purchase one that is not deformed, as we all know the bottom integrity is vital to the overall functionality of the machine.  I cannot get the body to sit straight.  Any extra bottoms (no pun intended)?
Thanks, CJ

Hi CJ,
Mr. Jacques Perrier in Switzerland is one of largest parts-suppliers for Hermes and even Olympia typewriters.
He sells and ships parts around the world.  Usually he will want to see a photo or two of the machine or part you are needing.
He also runs a Typewriter Museum.
His contact email is :     musee@machineaecrire.ch
And a link about his Museum :
And a link to his site :

You're welcomed, CJ...
Jacques is such a great fellow to make parts available.
He was even able to send me a part of this 1960's Hermes electro-mechanical calculating machine so I could get it up to 100% and back into use.
