Hello,
We have a lecture coming up at the St Bride Library in London that I think will be of interest to you all.
It’s being given by Marcin Wichary on ‘Shift Happens: The abridged history of having fun \/\/ith keyboards’ on 11 May and is being held online and in-person. Marcin is an entertaining and engaging speaker – and in the lecture we will solve a typewriter mystery, learn the basics of artyping, chat with Eliza and her (its?) friends, figure out the difference between ANSI, ASCII, and PETSCII art, meet the extended family of the Emoji Sheriff – and see what we can learn about ourselves and our relationship with machines in the process.

Sounds interesting, hopefully this notice will reach those in the area who might like to attend.
(I've moved this post to the appropriate sub-forum).

Cool! I'll have to see if they still have copies of the book.
Glad there's an online option for the presentation for those of us not in the UK.
