I'll have to dig out a 2Y, 3Y and the 4Y Empire Corona and make a direct, side-by-side comparison.
The pronoun I has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

I've got two 2Ys, both of which I deliberately purchased in really rough condition to give myself a good exercise in repair and type alignment. That means they're not exemplars of the model. Lots of potential though, which makes me curious if they got better or worse. As with any model, I guess I'll have to get my hands on some 2Y, 3Y, and 4Ys to try them out.
