Took my first non-functioning "tan" stapler and gave it a nice "turquoise" paint-job.
Maybe one day I will find an utterly trashed stapler that has the working part I need.
In the mean time, it has a place amongst my hoard.

Nice collection and colors!

My new stapler in the ivory-colour came today in the mail.
It looks like it was never, ever used.
I put it on my shelf next to the black-coloured one. Sort of an "ebony & ivory" thing going like piano keys.

Lots of history about the Ace Fastener Co. when located in Chicago.
Even photos of the old manufacturing plant.
Unfortunately the building met the wrecking ball in 2020 and is now replaced with a modern 4-story complex of retail on the ground floor and 3 upper floors of residential units.

Marbelized red, Variation 2 (i.e. round top) came in the mail today.
Variations # and # 2 were made from the 1940's to 1961...when the "Aceliner" variations # 3 and # 4 took their place. This one works perfectly and is in wonderful condition.
Just needed a good cleaning and polish up with some Flitz metal & plastic polish.
