What do you think about the SGE 35 typewriter? It doesn't have a ribbon selector, right?

Hi Herik,
Yes it does have a ribbon colour selector lever.
It is on the left side of the key-board. One lever is to set/clear Tab stops and the other lever is to select ribbon colour and/or its stencil position.
I have several electrics in my collection. My SGE-35 and my Hermes 10 are my two favourite electric machines.

Herik,
You might find this video by Duane Jensen of Phoenix Tyepwriters here in the uSA useful to see its features and qualities : { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120% }

I certainly like the model, but would only buy one if it was really inexpensive.

Herik,
Did you add a SGE-35 to your home ?

I have a question about the sge 35. Did they come with an elite typeface exclusively?

Hi Paul,
Here is a link to a SGE35 sales brochure. No mention of any different font sizes...but they do mention special characters can be ordered.
My SGE35 has cursive script in 12 pitch. The 13 inch wide platen has 140 characters, total

From what I remember, back in the day a smaller typeface like the 12 pitch, was considered more 'economical', you could cram in more words per page...

By the way, thanks for the link.

Pete E. Can I bother you with one more question? Do you know if the SGE 30 and the SGE 35 share the same mechanics? I was wondering if their parts were swappable...
