Good job Mike !
If you want to lighten up the look a bit, you might consider painting the space-bar and the 2 shift key-top an ivory colour.
Or maybe start with the space-bar, first...
That will bring the ivory colour of the carriage components forward.

. . . but a pain in the a@# to mask off. Pete has the right idea to accent paint the tops only.
I chose to remove the logo badges with a razor blade to the underside, and reattached with small blobs of epoxy.
Good idea.

This is the photo that got me to thinking about only adding a splash of colour to the ribbon covers on the Travellers.
Singer/song-writer Neil Diamond had a hit out some decades ago..."Forever In Blue Jeans".
It looks like someone did a denim fabric wrap on the Traveller.

They can put denim on just about anything. I have a Fender Princeton amp like this one clad in denim. Fans of the show Portlandia know how they dressed up everyday items: "put a bird on it!"

Hi George,
Here is a paint-job that I am probably not brave enough to pull off...

Gabby,
I keep waiting for someone to do a Trompe-l'œil treatment on one of those Olivetti-Underwood 21s where the inner workings of a typewriter are shown in 3D perspective to open up to the guts of a modern PC.
I have one of those typewriters...but love mine as-is...since it looks so Swedish.

Mike,
I have an old pair of these in a nice rustic "camel" colour hanging somewhere in the back of my closet.
Maybe I have room for one more Traveller in my life...???...

Ok, just one more, then we're closing the window on those.
