Interesting. Styling echos changes seen in the typewriters of the 70's. I'm going to guess this one not made in USA?
Putty, yes everywhere in the offices of the day. Including my first Mac computer.

Hi Mike,
The bottom of the box does say "Made In USA".
And lists the Ace location as 4100 West Victoria Street, Chicago, IL. Factory building seems to still be there housing a new occupant.
This Ace Concorde is just as heavy and stout at the Ace Liner.
This one did not see any use. The putty edges along the top are razor sharp. I might take some 800 grit wet & dry emery coth to make the edges a bit more user-friendly.

Mike,
Yes...putty everywhere. You did have a choice with the colour of the formica desk tops...either a dark walnut or some golden oak offering.
"HON" was the big name in office furniture supplier then when I worked for Intel in their early days in the mid 1970's.

Am curious about the Ace Dart model...so have this one on its way home.

Dart, interesting, have not seen that model.
As for my Aceliners, I think I'm pretty well set except for the elusive blue one. Which they had made a fire engine red one.

Finally got a photo to show off the true beautiful colour of the "swirl-blue" variety...
