My Facit TP-2 (made in 1964) came up for use-rotation on my desk for the next 2-3 days.
I got it back in 2021 when I performed a deep-cleaning and light oiling on it. Even in 2026, it works flawlessly.
The ivory coloured top of the case was heavily stained and would not come clean, so the top panel got a bit of new spray-paint.
The new (then) B&R silk ribbon from Ribbons Unlimited is still strong on paper.
This is such a good machine.
It came with a case-key and I managed to find a Facit key-ring to go along with the key and the case.

My Facit TP-2 in robin's egg blue made in 1967...and with cursive type-font.
Neither seller or I knew it was cursive. Got it quite cheap. Nice surprise when I took it out of the shipping box.

That's a cool score. I also have a blue one, but not cursive. They certainly have their own distinctive feel don't they. Very light and easy action. Condition looks outstanding.

My ADDO Model 621, made in 1978 or so. Fashioned after the Facit 1620 model but with its unique colour scheme.
Facit calls this type-font as Elite Cube (or Elite Cubic).
Bit small for my eyes...wished my machine was in Pica size.
But how often does one run into an ADDO typewriter, made in Sweden ?

My Facit 1620 made in 1969.
Type font is Elite Cube (aka Cubic).
Took some lacquer thinner & compressed air to the segment...as some keys were not returning fully and I had not quite cleaned it enough a year or so, ago.
