1960 - Tower President XII
My Tower President XII made in 1960. A Smith-Corona series 5LT variant for Sears Roebuck.
It weighs in at 13.6 lbs. without its case weight.
I love the 12" wide carriage on this otherwise small portable.
It ran me a whopping $ 45 USD plus a little bit of shipping.
All it needed was a deep clean, light oiling, and a new silk ribbon. Added new peel & stick felt here and there. Case just needed a wipe-down.

We have two rescue kitties that are vying for the title of "Chief Inspector" in our home when typewriters show up.
The big red tabby is named "Sweets" and he weighs in at around 20 lbs.
And this little girl kitty is "Lily". Both are rescues that we brought home together from a local cat shelter. She is sort of the boss in the house.
