Updates:
1. I managed to secure us another week to get everyone's contribution in order and to make the payment.
2. As per my previous post, there are still four people not accounted for from the poll (3 x $20, and 1 x $15). If these people don't make themselves known we're back to only making a 6-month subscription payment.
3. I also still need to figure out what the easiest way will be to collect the money. Interac e-Transfer would be the quickest and easiest, and I think it's international. Someone suggested Venmo, which I've never used, and PayPal, which I do have. There's also the issue or additional costs because there will be currency exchanges (I'm in Canada) since the payment has to be in USD.
Comments? Suggestions?

I wonder if maybe some of those people who made entries on the list don't know that it doesn't ID them and that they need to send a separate email stating their contribution and who they are?

I went to the Interac e-Transfer web page.
It looks like one needs to have a Canadian ban account to send money to someone else who must also have a Canadian bank account.
If you can set up a Venmo account on your end, let me know your account ID and I can get $ 100 USD over to you the same day.

I'll look into the Venmo thing. I asked the forum owner if people could just individually make payments, but that was a dead end.

Another dead end: "Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App are restricted to US bank accounts and US phone numbers."
Turns out that Venmo is owned by PayPal? I'll continue looking....

Here in the USA, we can send money using Remitly.
If you are in Canada AND your Remitly account is tied to your bank account, the money transfer has no fees from the USA to Canada. If you have a Remitly storefront, you can pick up the money in person but I think there is then a $ 2.99 USD fee each time.
All we see on the USA-side is your account user/name.
