Olivetti Valentine = iMac?

I came across an article where the head of the Design Museum in London compares the Olivetti Valentine to the iMac in terms of novel design and vivid colour.

I can see his point, but long before the Valentine there was the Corona portable....

I agree with you. It read like an oversimplified blog entry that demonstrated the author isn't very knowdledgeable when it comes to typewriter history. The Valentine is without question iconic, but it wasn't created in a vacuum, and it certainly didn't introduce colour - as he implied - to typewriter design.

The pronoun has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.
