Hi,
I'm about to clean and restore an old Remington 12 I have and can't figure out how to remove the carriage. I have the platen out... but for the life of me I can't figure out the carriage. It looks like the carriage and rails can come off...but no luck. I have a couple of Underwoods around the same time period...but they seem to be completely different.

Any help would be appreciated... already googled the internet and searched this forum without any luck.
