Hi z, oh I see. We were more White Plains, Peekskill etc. I guess wherever you are it's about finding out the best places to look and then just keeping a sharp eye. Prices are generally lower generally over there, it seems to me. As with almost everything else. It's why I'm so ruthless. £40 or so is a very average price for a typewriter in decent nick over here, ie about $65-70. I paid £45 for my SM3 and the LEttera 32, both in v good condition - in the SM3's case, the day after I saw one in a shop for £195. Admittedly the £195 one didn't have any Tippex on the front... ;)

Anyway I am going to pick up the Blickensderfer today! I'll post some pics up when I can.
