So I just got my hands on a Remington Rand Model 1.

Got an issue with the ribbon, when typing, it doesn't come back down. Let me explain.

As I type, the words appear fine but the ribbon soon advances higher to the point where I cannot see what I'm typing! Feels like a front-strike typewriter...

I can bandage-fix this by pushing the ribbon back down, but as I start typing it advances back up again obscuring the typed letters.

Where / what do I adjust? The ribbon is quite old as well, so I'm thinking that may be the reason but I highly doubt it.
