Re: changing font on Lettera 32 from cursive to print.

Someone may be willing to do a trade with you! It would save you having to hunt around on ebay. Worth asking anyway

Re: changing font on Lettera 32 from cursive to print.

Hi Copy Writer

I realize this thread is a little old, however a Lettera 32 with cursive went for over $100. US a few days ago (eBay item # 251908447826 ). Depending where you are located, I have a Lettera 32 with regular type (still need to clean it up) would be willing to trade if you are interested. All the best,

Sky

We humans go through many computers in our lives, but in their lives, typewriters go through many of us.
In that way, they’re like violins, like ancestral swords. So I use mine with honor and treat them with respect.
I try to leave them in better condition than I met them. I am not their first user, nor will I be their last.

This thread haunts me, lol.  I wonder how it turned out.

Re: changing font on Lettera 32 from cursive to print.

How it turned out is that the OP, inexplicably, just deleted the content from all of his posts in this thread, and now wants the thread itself deleted. It's not going to happen. I consider discussion threads such as these to be reference material, and once made public it will remain a part of the forum; others who might have a similar question, and who take the time to perform a search, will be able to read this thread and have their question answered.

I don't understand why the OP removed all of his comments, but it's really a poor attitude to have in a forum. I have a really dim view of the practice and hope that this will be an isolated case.

Re: changing font on Lettera 32 from cursive to print.

Yeah, this would have been a good thread to have intact in the forum. It's a question I've seen asked before and It will be asked again; it would be good to keep this reference.

Uwe, my compliments on running a very good forum! Thanks.

Thank you Michael; however, what makes the forum good is the great members - such as yourself - that we have here!
