My wife happend upon a catalog from 1896 in postmarked envelope from The Typewriter Company with engravings, pricing and info on all the current models. It even had the original inserts. I'm thinking about scanning it, but a little reluctanct given its age. Would anyone out there like to see it? I don't want to go through the trouble if no-one is interested.

Can't speak for others, but I'm sure something with such historical significance is worth scanning. I scan every document that happens to come with any typewriter that I buy, in part because it allows me to view it again without adding additional wear and tear to the original.

How fabulous! Thanks so much for posting. I've decided I'm going to start writing my Amazon reviews like the ones found in this catalog.

Very cool, thanks for posting that. I particularly liked the accessory and furniture section!
