Somebody save this poor Remington Noiseless!
The price is great for a machine that appears to work, but it's mentioned twice that keys make good jewelry. Not only that, it's from Brooklyn which has become Hipster Haven now, so someone is bound to make something out of the keys sooner or later. I'd buy it myself, but I already have two Noiselesses while trying to sell on and I'm already over my limit. Do your part and save another typewriter today!

@mre Do you mean a standard? If it is... And I bet it was in great working condition too...

I just saw a poor Corona Folding No. 3 before and after the keys were chopped off. The guy seemed proud that the back of the keys was flat after being cut. So he was selling the keys and in a separate auction, the body (for parts) and case.

What an absolute idiot. In a case such as that it's very probable that he would have made a lot more money selling the machine intact rather than broken up for parts - and for the key tops; I doubt a kitch jewelery maker cares about the origin of the keys, and those from a Corona 3 wouldn't be worth any more than those from a run-of-the-mill Underwood 5.
