The Typewriter Bug bit me again....

Couldnt resist. I had the choice of a perfect Underwood Master for 85 dollars, or an almost perfect Royal 10 for 60.

I picked the Royal.

Think I did good? I will be posting pictures in a little while.

Re: The Typewriter Bug bit me again....

Well I'm partial to the Royal 10, so I think it was the better choice. But I got my Royal 10 for $40, and it still needs some work. Though if it's clean and works, $60 ain't too bad.

Do you know what year it's from?

A high schooler with a lot of typewriters. That's pretty much about it.

I bought my '24 10 for $20, and then sold it for $290. They can turn a good profit, so I'd say $60 isn't so bad.

Re: The Typewriter Bug bit me again....

It works perfectly, it was just loaded with dust. Its from 1921, double windows. Ill get some pictures right now. On one half of the typewriter I putsome oil to coat it and polish it, on the other is the dull finish before.

Re: The Typewriter Bug bit me again....

Here it is. The two worst things about it is that theres a paint chip in the back (No big deal, its the back) and the E key has a small crack. But hey, the keys arnt faded yellow, and the rubber isnt cracked. The right, if you can tell, has been polished, and the left, has not.

That's a nice Royal 10. I'd say that of the two, you certainly picked the more "classic" of the two. Great pickup!

Nice! The double windows on the side make it more valuble.

How so?

The pronoun has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.
