What would cause this? Only 3 typebars are doing this. They are resting about 1/4 of an inch above than they should. I cant push them down much.

Look around for bent linkages under the typebars that prevent them from resting flat. You should be able to bend them back easily with needle nosed pliers. I had this same problem with my 10, very easy fix.

Yep, thats what I thought. All 3 have bent linkages, Ill tr bending them back and see if it works.

Actually, the two of the three keys do not have bent linkages. Any solutions?

Hi,
Hopefully this is right topic to place requested photo of backspace spring. Couldn't find topic about removing carriage, but we're in the middle of a big thunder bumper so this is really quick!

Ah yes, thats the exact photo i needed! It seems like the spring part that was holdin onto the screw was loose, so the spring makes an arch and hits the carriage each time the carriage moves. Im going to have to take the spring off and re-form it(Bend it back). Thanks for the photo!
