Enjoy the film Amelia!

Valiant and I attended the Toronto screening; unfortunately I missed several sections of the film's dialogue as the other people in attendance were too talking (clearly they weren't there for the film). It's an interesting doc and I'll be interested to read what you thought of it.

Hi Amelia: Did you attend the showing? Care to share your thoughts on the film?
Wondering if this is available for download or purchase now? Does anyone here know?

According to Christopher Lockett, director of The Typewriter (In The 21st Century), a distribution deal was signed on February 25 that would make the film available through Hulu, iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, and VOD.

Although I did find the film available for purchase on Amazon, it isn't available - yet - through any of those other sources.

I went and I loved it. It was so great to see the large number of enthusiasts in the film and at the screening. I just wish it had been longer!
Christopher Lockett had the DVD for sale ($20 USD) at the screening.
My friend purchased one and had it autographed.
It is available in the US through Amazon for $24.95 (6 left in current stock).

I had seen that and would have bought the DVD for that amount, but unfortunately getting it shipped to Canada by Amazon adds another 40 percent to its price. And for some reason it isn't offered on Amazon.ca, but I'll keep checking...

Perhaps you could contact the director and ask about availability outside the US?

There's an e-mail address listed under "contact."

Thanks for the suggestion. That's exactly what I'll do.
