Okay, I'll make one up and put it there. I also have a royal royalite with a nice typeface I want to put there too, and I guess I should add the Olympia cursive as well.

Here's my hacked knob. I will probably try to redo this since I got a little impatient and marred the paint. I think I can match the color better too, but this will do for now.

Looks amazing! You have two cursive typewriters!? Also amazing. I'd love to find on of those - but not right now, I seem to have reached saturation point. In a few months maybe.

Spazmelda - I am thrilled that you were finally able to get the Hermes typing. Nice cursive. And - your replacement knob looks great.

Thanks Mech! I actually had to redo the knob. That one was just a smidge too big and got caught on the plastic paper guide thing. I found a lid to a contact case that was exactly the right size and was more patient with the painting, so it looks much better and doesn't hang the carriage up. I'm thrilled I got it working too. I was starting to think $45 for a cursive Hermes was just too good to be true
