Good luck with your auction. I think it's a great cause and I hope it helps your organization. However, I have to question the approach of selling these machines as a group. Perhaps even more disturbing, there aren't any detailed photos to review, just tiny thumbnails; without decent multi-angle photos there's no way for a potential buyer to roughly assess each machine's condition or glean more specific details concerning the features of each model.
It's this lack of information, plus the very vague shipping details accompanying the auction, which will keep a serious collector like myself from bidding. And that's a shame because I would have been interested in a number of machines within that group.

Yes, I fully agree. To get anything like the best from this sale, someone needs to photograph them and list them individually on a big on-line auction site such as eBay. The machines as a job lot have such a limited market, whereas the market for individual machines will be far greater. I should think the only offers for the lot would likely be from dealers intending to sell them on, and they cannot pay market value whereas individual buyers perhaps will. Best too would be for someone who knows something of the subject to desctibe their condition and show a type sample from each machine.
You will certainly realize more for your cause this way. Good luck.

Well if there were seperate listings I probably would have considered. I would reccomend seperating them. If you like the group idea, at the very least seperate them into groups of like 5.

You have some nice typewriters. Unfortunately, your pictures and descriptions are absolutely horrible. You are asking a substantial amount for a group of typewriters without providing potential buyers the ability to actually get a reasonable idea of what they might be buying. I strongly advise you re-evaluate your sales strategy if you wish to bring in the maxiumum amount of funds for your organization.

I agree with the others. Separate auctions would make you more successful.
