I am new to typewriters.
After I cleaned my first typewriter I proceeded to oil it.
I was under the impression that this is what was needed. I used too much oil. I sprayed it in and in all the wrong areas.
I have since learned that these machines are made to basically run dry except for certain key areas.
And I now remember the pipette that came with my first typewriter.
But knowing not to do something is a far cry from knowing how to do something properly.
Are there any videos out there explaining this process?
I realize that why machines are all different they must have similar components so an video could help.
In leau of this I would certainly appreciate your comments and input.

There is an "Oiling Tips" section in the dunk cleaning thread, and Part Four also mentions places to oil.
