Question about Oliver typeslugs
The typebars on my Oliver, when shifted to Caps, hit the chrome ruler guide. Is this normal?

Which model are you referring to? In either case, it certainly doesn't sound normal to me.
Just a reminder to everyone, it's always a good idea to include the make/model/year/serial number for your typewriter when asking for help in this sub-forum.
The pronoun I has always been capitalized in the English language for more than 700 years.

ah, sorry, forgot. Haha.
Its a Oliver Printype 9. The bat wing. The typebars do not hit the guide when on figure shift or regular, but when on caps they do.
