    If the 3 turns works fine, use that. You just dont want an over powered mainspring.

    Any more ideas on what could be making the escapement jam the key press mechanism as shown in the videos I posted?
    (if anyone wants a better video of some aspect, do ask and I will put one up.  I have tried to show what I think are the salient aspects to my untrained eye)
