Thank you Uwe, I just wanted to buy a new typewriter in 2015 for the fun of it, just to see how it would be.  I don't expect it to be a quality product for the reasons you say.  And I also do not believe everything you read on the internet, there are so many conflicting articles and information that I read.  I have a Royal Standard that's over 70 years old that I use all the time, I love it and will never see one like it made brand new.  The funny thing is that when I emailed the company, Acedepot.com wrote back and said this Olivetti is being made by Royal, I kinda find this hard to believe, it could be possible, but I don't expect it to be a quality product.  I just wanted it for the fun of it and having a brand new machine that would hopefully work well.
