Hello, I am looking into buying a metal 1960s SCM Empire Corona typewriter and is the quality and type feel and touch better than a later Corsair or is it just the same?

Hello, I have just purchased a 1960s Brother De Luxe typewriter and I have read that it is a sturdy typewriter and reliable but how does it act as a typing machine? Is it a smooth typer?

Hello, I have recently bought an Empire Aristocrat typewriter and I notice it looks very similar to a Hermes Rocket/Baby and it feels like it too. Is the just a coincidence or is it a different thing.

I have on eBay a 1960s SCM (Smith Corona) 250 Electric Typewriter. It has a few faults: 1. The carriage does not space after the keys are pressed. 2. Some keys get stuck. 3. The top ribbon cover has came detached and the screws for it are included and a key may get caught against this. But, it is in very good cosmetic condition and it includes the original manual and still good quality ribbon. The listing is here:eBay listing

On eBay I have listed my 1950s non-working Remington Rand typewriter. The typewriter is non working and the carriage has a little bump as you move it and the keys do not work. But, the typewriter is in good cosmetic condition and has the case included. You can read more about it on the eBay listing.

I have listed on eBay my 1970s partially working Erika 155 typewriter. The typewriter is in good cosmetic condition and the keys work fine and the carriage advances fine but the bell does not ding at the end of your margin and it just abruptly stops. Hello, I am thinking of purchasing a second version Hermes 3000 typewriter from the 1960s, but I am also thinking of purchasing a 1940s Smith Corona Clipper. Would somebody please tell me which one they think is better in their opinion; and which one is more reliable.
