Thanks Uwe much appreciated, that makes sense since there doesn’t appear to be anything unique about it (other than the name) over a standard sterling.

I've been familiarizing myself with the different vintage models that have been offered by Smith Corona. I understand that the clipper was the entry version, followed by the sterling, silent, etc...but I have come across one that has been identified as an "Enterprise". Are these considered rare? I can't find barely any information about it.
Thanks,

Now that you mention it, I hope the seller packaged mine properly as well. I'll find out this Saturday I guess.

I didn't see the option to edit, but those are the auction photos. I should be receiving it by the end of the week.

Hey all,
New member here, made my first purchase today. I chose a Smith Corona Sterling in practically new condition with original case, key, paperwork and locking mechanism. I thought it was a pretty good buy at $83.72 delivered given the condition it appears to be in.

Hey all,
Recently bitten by the bug and just joined. Made my first purchase (today actually) and should be receiving it by the end of the week. Looking forward to learning all I can from you folks. I'll post a reply to the "recent acquisitions" thread.
