Hi, I'm working on cleaning up and repairing a SC.  I'm not sure if the Touch Selector is adjusted correctly.  It doesn't seem to me like the spring is really doing a whole lot, but I don't know what it's suppose to look like under operation.

Does it look like it's working properly in the video?  Thanks for your help.

Over the weekend I hit a few antique shops and found a couple SM-9s and a Remington All-New.  One of the SM-9s is from 1966 and the other 1967.  One is pica and the other elite.  The Remington is from 1950.  The 1951 Silent I got from Goodwill, and it is going to be a project, as I knew it would.

Nothing exciting here for most of you, but since I'm just starting out collecting these I'm happy with what I found

Thank you!  That manual does look very similar to what I have. Tomorrow I hope to find time to play with it.

According to the typewriter database I’ve purchased a 1950 Remington All New typewriter. I’ve looked for a manual and repair manual for this model but haven’t been successful. Does anyone know where I can get a PDF of this material?  Thanks

In all instances I’m looking for esthetically pleasing and functional items. I’m not looking for that needle in the haystack.
