    Hermes Ambassador: Where to hook the drawband?

    Hi guys, my newly acquired Hermes Ambassador from 1960ish arrived with a broken drawband. It shouldn’t be difficult to replace it, but I can’t find a hook to fasten the end of the drawband. Can you help me, please? I tried to embed the image,

    Right below your hand is the the main spring, turn that around and you should see a tab.  When you get the draw band repaired, you'll want to wind the spring around a few time (depends on model) to tension it then attach to the tab.

    The other attachment point will be on the right side of the carriage, the other end of you broken drawband may still be attached there.

    Thank’s a lot. I managed to repair the drawband, but now there is another problem. I think I will start another thread for it.
