My Lexikon is equipped with a normal tabulator. When I use the tab button, the carriage moves one space beyond the tab position. If I set my first tab at 5 and use the tab button, the carriage move to 6. This is not what I am used to. Is this normal? Any thoughts about the matter?
UPDATE
I bought an M80 for parts and as a reference to help me solve the tab issue of my Lexikon 80. To my surprise there is a difference between the levers that set the tab pin. The M80 lever is bend to the left, the Lexikon 80 is straight. This means that the M80 sets one pin earlier. This gave me the idea to move the tab finger of my Lexikon 80 one slot to the right. This fixed the problem. See also the images below.
Now I wonder if my Lexikon 80 is configured the way it should be. Does anybody know more about this?
Lexikon 80 with tab finger in first slot. In this situation, the carriage moves one space beyond the tab position.
M80 with bend tab set lever.
Lexikon 80 with tab finger in second slot. Tabulator works as expected.

I would say that the tab .set finger on your machine got bent out of position. Perhaps someone pushed the tab. set button and then pulled on the carriage at some time in the past. Instead of bending the finger back to where it should be, you have moved the tab. blade over to compensate. As long as the machine now works as you want it to, it doesn't matter
