Hi, I guess this is the only place where I can safely ask this question. Anybody here has a 'family photo' of the Olympia SGE electric typewriters?
I am especially interested in the differences between the SGE 35 and the 45.
Thanks.

Hi Paul,
The first 2 photos, below, are of my 1974 Olympia SGE 35.
The last 2 photos are off the Internet (eBay previous sale) of the SGE 45.
Hope this is of some help for you.
FWIW...I liked the styling of the SGE 35 over the SGE 45. And I knew I could live without the "vertical space" feature that the SGE 45 has.

Paul,
Two other models to keep an eye out...I am hopeful to find one of these (or both) in my future.
SGE-30 and SGE-40. Both made before the Company changed to "Olympia International".

Thanks, Pete E. And I agree, entirely. There's something about the styling of the 30 and the 40 that's just missing in the 45.

Anti-theft protection for the SGE-45...
1. Make me heavy that no one wants to steal and run away.
2. Make me ugly to look at.
Ha Ha Ha !!!

It's funny, though, isn't it? Some machines seem to benefit from a more square-ish look. My favourite typer at the moment is my Selectric III. I just love looking at her
