Yes, Olympia I have has the tabulator adjust. in the back, so I guess it is Sm8; still to clean it again. That will take a few days as I am out of town. But...I midht add, typing on it has an uncertain feeling to it, I make many typos, where the others I have, Royal, Remington, Smith Corona, feel more predictable..

Well I hope you fix what ever is wrong with it. I love Olympias, no matter what model or make, so it would just be a pity for you not to be able to type on it. Good luck!

I recently spoke to a typewriter repairman who suggested that I clean the machine again, that could be it.
