I own four Penncrest machine and the ones I have are made by SCM.

Need help removing the platter from an SG-1. A fellow forum member here gave me some simple instructions but I've had no success and I don't want to break anything.

Remove the tiny screw holding the right knob on? Or do I remove the 17mm nut? I've tried both but decided to quit before I messed something up.
