Replacing the drawstring turned out to be very easy. I have some pictures that I'll post soon. Thanks to Halifaxlad for providing the replacement string.

Nice. But I prefer the more angular look of the Lettera 25. Seems a good typer though.

It is nice, isn't it. Both mine are black, but the green is spectacular.

I find it surprisingly easy to overlook things, so much so that I make myself go through a mental checklist when I'm looking over a new machine. I have an odd blind-spot for spool nuts...

With regards to pictures, you have to click on the mountain symbol, not the link, to post images. I'll try to get some of mine up soon.

I've never come across one in the UK, but will keep an eye out for you. It would be fantastic to see this one restored.
