I would, that's quite an interesting color scheme.  Little bit of tlc and I'm sure it will be typing in no time

My favorite thing about these is the large carriage return levers. This one seems to be in pretty good shape. I wish I could find one like it in my area.

Thank you, it's a great machine.
Typing on it is pretty good. It has a medium Touch id say. My favorite to type on is the royal KMMs. They fit my fingers perfect and doesn't require a whole lot of effort.

Yes the linked above typewriter is beautiful, however it is out of my price range. Ideally that's what I'm looking for. I do realizing I will be paying a higher price than usual for this machine.

I want one preferably with the keyboard AZERTY. Its technically the true french keyboard. I wouldnt turn down the canadian one but the true french one is preferred.

Are you referring to the ribbon with black on top and white on bottom?
In my experience (maybe I have cheap stuff) but the white out tends to splatter not only on the platen but on the ribbon vibrator and fingers. It's messy.

Like the title states I'm looking for either a portable or an upright with French accent symbols. Also another stipulation is it predates the 60s and is in working order.
Any thoughts on where to pick one up? I am unfamiliar with models like these.

Thanks !
Jefferson
